Central University of Haryana got approval for School of Engineering
Central University of Haryana is poised to touch new heights. University is adding new feather in his crown on every step. Spread over 500 acres of terrain the University has set new paradigm in the field of education. A new tree is planted in the form of School of engineering. After the approval of School of Education, to meet the approval of School of Engineering from University Grants Commission in accelerated manner is a matter of pride not only for university but also for the entire Haryana.
Trades-
Under the School of Engineering B. Tech programs of Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering and printing & packaging technology will be conducted.
Seats-
For the intake in each courses it was decided, after the intensive meeting of the university authorities, that the intake in all courses will be 60.
Admission-
The admission in these courses will be through the JEE-Advanced.
All these courses will start from the current academic year 2016-17 and for them to start university is committed with all its resources and efforts. Dates for entry and all information will be issued shortly by the university. For these courses UGC has sanctioned a total of 37 academic positions. Of which 28 posts for the main program and 9 were accepted for interdisciplinary subjects.
On receipt of approval of the new school, Vice Chancellor Prof. R.C. Kuhad expressed pleasure that it is evident of development of University as well as the region. The university becomes successful in making his identity and dignity at national level through these courses. Our efforts and cooperation of the people is our motivation. We're delighted that the University is working in line with people's expectations. Prof. Kuhad extends his thanks not only for the university Staff but also for all the local citizens those who are with the university fraternity in the development of such a noble undertaking.
